Rather than revisit the controversial subject of which editor is best it is probably more productive to remind users that many editors have been installed. Many Windows users will probably feel most at home using the gedit editor which looks and feels just like Windows notepad. Other popular choices are kdevelop and emacs. However if you are new to GNU/Linux, my advice would be to stick to gedit. |
