If you have forgotten your password then you need to visit this web page and follow the advice given in the first answer in the faq. If you want to change your known password for a better one then this is slightly more difficult. You need to open up a command line terminal and type: $ yppasswd you will be prompted for your old password and asked to type in your new password twice. Once you have done this you can destroy the command line terminal by using the mouse appropriately. Hopefully there will be an easy to use GUI solution created or found in the near future. |
